Our philosophy


Having tasted the most delicate variety of olive oil and having accumulated the knowledge and experience of such a great number of generations, we decided to be occupied with its standardization according to the internationally statutory standards because we believe that we can distinguish and provide you with the superior quality of the product. Our belief is supported by our yearning for contributing with all our strength to the promotion and international establishment of the greek olive oil, which is the first qualitative olive oil in the world, in first place as deserved, but also by our desire to introduce and integrate in the nutrition of the current generation the unique flavor of the pure and healthy greek olive oil. Our business has the experience and knowledge that enables it to focus on the future, with plans that concern both the development and expansion of the business, but also the projection and exploitation of the natural wealth of the Peloponnese.

Nutritional value of olive oil

The oils contain fatty acids, which are separated into three kinds: saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated.
The animal fats contain mainly saturated fatty acids, the seed oils polyunsaturated, while the olive oil contains mainly monounsaturated fatty acids at a rate up to 83%. The oleic acid, the basic ingredient of olive oil, constitutes such a monounsaturated fatty acid.

In addition, it contains vitamin E and other antioxidants that make it food of highest nutritional value. The smell, taste and color relate to the presence of more than 30 phenolic compounds. These compounds present strong antioxidant, antithrombotic and antibacterial action, raising the olive oil to something more than a simple aliment.

So, there is no one today who doubts that the composition for the consumption of olives and olive oil is a composition for the purpose of the promotion of our health. However, what was not known until today and comes to strengthen the value of olive oil is its relation to the digestive process.
